Terms of Service

By creating an account or using AIQuote you accept these terms. If you are doing so for a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept them on that company’s behalf, and “you” means the company.

If you do not accept them, do not use the service. It is that simple and there is no version of this where continuing anyway is fine.

AIQuote reads crane and hoist inspection workbooks, isolates the lines a technician marked as deficient, and asks AI models to research the part and the labour each one needs. It shows you what they found, the pages they found it on, and where two models disagree.

It does not order parts, schedule work, or file anything with anyone. It produces a draft for a human to review.

• Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us promptly if you think somebody else is using it.
• One account per person. Sharing a login between colleagues means we cannot tell you apart in an audit, and neither can you.
• We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or to break the law.

The reports you upload stay yours. Uploading one gives us permission to store and process it for the single purpose of running the service for you — nothing else. We do not use it to train models, and we do not share it with other customers.

Because those reports describe your customers’ sites and name their staff, you confirm that you are entitled to upload them and to have them processed as described in the Privacy Policy. If your contract with a customer restricts where their data may go, read section 4 of that policy before uploading their reports — it lists exactly which fields reach a third-party model.

Every part number, price and labour hour this platform shows you was produced by an AI model reading public web pages minutes earlier. Nothing here has been checked against a manufacturer’s parts catalogue. It can be wrong, and sometimes it will be confidently wrong.

Cranes and hoists are lifting equipment. A wrong part in a brake is not a billing error. So, in plain terms:

• A qualified person must verify every part number, quantity and price against the manufacturer’s documentation before anything is ordered or fitted.
• Labour hours are an indication for quoting, not an instruction for how long a repair should take or how it should be carried out.
• The platform does not decide whether equipment is safe to use, and nothing it produces is an inspection, a certification, or an engineering judgement.
• You remain responsible for complying with the inspection and maintenance standards that apply to you — OSHA and ASME B30 among them — and for the competence of the people doing the work.

The two models are shown side by side for exactly this reason. Where they agree you have better evidence; where they disagree you have a row worth opening. Neither is a substitute for the parts book.

Do not:

• upload data you have no right to upload
• try to reach another customer’s reports, or probe for a way to
• scrape the service, resell access to it, or run it as a backend for a competing product
• attack it, overload it deliberately, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it

This is early software and it is offered as it is. We do not promise any level of uptime, and there will be periods where the service is unavailable — some planned, some not. Features may change or be withdrawn.

Part lookup depends on services we do not control. When a model provider is slow or down, lookups fail; the platform will tell you which of those it was rather than a generic error.

The service is currently provided at no charge while it is being built. If that changes we will give you notice before any charge applies, and you will be able to decline and stop using it.

We own the platform — the software, the interface and the brand. You own your reports and the data in them. Neither of us gets rights in the other’s property by using this service.

The estimates the platform produces for your reports are yours to use in your quotes.

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of output. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, or that anything it produces is correct or complete.

To the fullest extent the law allows, AIQuote, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost business or lost data, arising out of your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from data you uploaded without the right to do so, from your breach of these terms, or from work carried out on the strength of an estimate that was not verified as section 5 requires.

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or other customers at risk, and we will say why where we can.

Sections 4, 5, 9, 10, 11 and 12 survive the end of this agreement.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance; if you would rather not, close the account.
